Birthday and Anniversary

On the 21st Jared turned 26, and we had our 5 year anniversary.  Jared says 6 years ago he would have never dreamed we would be married with 2 kids now.  We didn't even know each other 6 years ago.  Jared had to work on the 21st but he took the 22nd off to be with us so we could have a 3 day weekend.  It was fun to be with him.  I got him the kitchen aide ice cream attachment and a hamburger press and Saylor got him the 25th anniversary Back to the Future Trilogy.  We have already used the ice cream maker and it makes yummy ice cream for sure.  Jared surprised me by skipping class and coming home 5 hours earlier then I had planned with beautiful flowers!! I just love this guy!! Saylor is always excited for birthdays because of the balloons.  She woke up at 7 and went downstairs to play balloons with her dad.  When I went to get her out of bed at 10, Jared has taken her back up and put a movie on so I could have some more sleep,  she had taken a balloon up with her and had been sleeping with it.  She had a big day playing with dad, and zoncked out on the recliner around 9 that night.  Friday she was excited cause dad was home and he got to do school hour with her.  She did amazing on her worksheets and I think he was impressed with how good she did.  We decided to go to the Mayan for dinner on saturday, who wouldn't want to celebrate all weekend? We like the food, but also we like going places that are fun for Saylor and the atmosphere is definitely her style.  We got super awesome seats and she loved seeing "Tarzan and Jane" doing tricks for us.  They also had a really cool fire twirler.  At one point there was thunder and lightening and Jared told her it was going to start raining as he put his hands up to cover his head.  She totally bought into it and when she would look at me he would flick some water from his cup at her with his fingers.  She thought it was amazing that it was raining in the "jungle".  We had a great time, each year just seems more and more fun and our family grows and the girls get bigger.  I love Jared so much.  I am so happy we found each other!!
