Saturday Jared converted Saylor's crib into the toddler bed. I was a little worried about how this would go during bed time but felt it was time to let her grow up a little more. The first night she cried but wouldn't get out of the bed. I was very surprised, it only took me 45 minutes to get her in bed and asleep. The second night it only took me 25 minutes, and last night we were down to 20. She still cries when I put her in, but she always has, even in her crib. She understands it is time for bed, and after coming to the door once or twice she walks back to bed, tells her mouse "na-night" and falls asleep!! She is always excited when she wakes up in the morning, crawls out of bed and walks downstairs to find me!!! One thing that has been really hard is that in order for this to work, we had to cut out her afternoon nap. Although she doesn't seem to be bothered by it, I no longer have 3-4 hours of free time to get stuff done!!

So cute! Saylor is growing up so fast!
Oh my goodness, what a big girl!
she took 3-4 hour naps!!!!!! How did you get so lucky?
I dread the bed change.... You give me hope
I don't know that loosing your 3-4 hours of time was worth the change. j/k I am also surprised she isn't cranky now that she isn't getting the nap.
You had 3-4 hours while she napped? I think I get one.
Sounds like she is all grown up.
Max cries when he goes to sleep and when he wakes up. I really hope that will change.
Cute bed, by the way.
She is getting so big! I haven't been on your blog in so long!
I hated cutting out naps because no more free time, but it's so nice when they go to bed early!
Wow, I big change. I am debating when that will be on our list of things to do. But I do have hope...
