We went back to DC this year for Ron's "fairwell" dinner. It was gorgeous weather, 70's the whole week!! We mostly hung close to the hotel but we did go to our first "demonstration" which I call a protest in front of the whitehouse, and to the natural history museum where we saw the butterfly exhibit. The butterflies would land right on you, one got stuck in Jared's hair. We also bought Saylor some Dinosaurs and she named the biggest one Ron, it is pretty funny to hear her play with it. We are hopeful that trips from now on will include grandpa, it is so much more fun when he gets to be with us!! Saylor stole my bed every night, she loved grandmas shower, and found a couple new friends, Dennis and Juliana. She fell asleep at the beginning of the big dinner and the nice hotel staff brought blankets and made her a bed with chairs, it made the event all the more enjoyable!! It was nice to have some time with Jared, and some warm weather!!!

Looks like a lot of fun! We want to go to DC soon. You will have to tell us all of the hot spots! :)
How fun. I love DC! I just wish when I was there last that we could have stayed longer. So much to see so little time.
