Homemade Rootbeer

We decided to try out a new recipe for homemade root-beer for a memorial day party.  We wanted to test it before we took it and made anyone sick. We bought all the ingredients and made a small batch at home.  Saylor was very interested in what her dad was doing, until he put the dry ice in, she saw the smoke and hid behind him.  As soon as he showed her how to blow it and touch the smoke she thought it was amazing and didn't want to stop touching it.  We eventually had to put it on a high cupboard so she didn't get too confident and stick her hand in.  The root-beer tasted just like a root-beer popsicle, it was really good!! We will be making it more often, if for nothing else, it was fun!!
